How To Book
Reserving a table
First please email your enquiry to princegeorge@indigopubco.com, we will confirm if space is available on your required day and time. Secondly if you are happy with the available date and time we will provisionally hold that table for 7 days, until the deposit is paid in full. Due to the high volume of Christmas booking enquiries we receive - particularly for the most sought after dates and tables in the run up to Christmas - we have to operate a strict policy whereby until the deposit is paid a table is not confirmed, and could be taken by other customers. We will provisionally reserve tables and hold them for 7 days but cannot hold tables indefinitely without the deposit, please get your deposit to us ASAP or within 7 days and we can confirm your booking.
Deposits
In order to confirm a Christmas booking we first require a deposit of £5 per head. This deposit can be paid in a number of ways:
- Over the phone using a credit or debit card. 01273681055
- By card at the pub.
- In cash (we provide a receipt)
Timing on the day
Though we will do our best to ensure that you have plenty of time to enjoy your food and drinks at a leisurely pace, please note that tables booked in the afternoon or early evening are likely to be booked again later on. Consequently, any tables booked between 12.30pm and 5pm will be given an automatic duration of up to 4 hours (depending on the size of the party) and confirmation emails will stipulate an expected leave time. Should you require more time than allocated we can amend the duration as long as the tables are not required later. If you wish to spend the whole evening with us and want to avoid any time constraint we suggest booking for 5pm or later. Once your booking is confirmed we respectfully request that you inform us of your planned arrival time, as well as the time you wish to sit down and the food service to commence. This way, if you wish to have drinks and socialise before your meal, we can schedule the meal accordingly.
Menu and Pre-orders
To make sure your party runs as smoothly as possible, we would appreciate it if you can return the pre-order form that can be downloaded online, at least two weeks before the date of your party.
This can be returned in a number of formats;
Allergies/dietary requirements
When sending the pre-order, please inform us of any specific dietary requirements and be sure to state clearly any allergies. Please note, that even though extra care will be taken during food preparation in light of any allergies, trace amounts of some ingredients may be present in the kitchen and therefore we cannot 100% guarantee there will be no cross contamination. We therefore welcome guests with very serious allergies to bring your own food to meet your requirements.
Changes to numbers
It is often the case that one person, or possibly even a couple of people may drop out at the last minute. These things happen and it’s not a big deal, however we request that where possible you inform us at the earliest opportunity of any cancellations within your party so we can allocate the best table for you and your guests. Provided we receive more than 24hours notice we will not impose any deductions from the deposit.
It may instead be the case that you wish to add one or more people to a booking at the last minute. While we will endeavour to make this possible there are limitations to how many people can fit on each table, and on the busier nights there may simply not be the space available.
